A Resource for Book Clubs

Reading-for-Fun offers existing book clubs information and questions on a wide range of popular books.  For the list of books and authors available click here.

Many of these books are genre novels which may not be the usual choice of some book clubs.  But they are all either very good examples of the genre, or have an important place in its development.  In addition, there are titles from serious literature, including ten winners of the Booker Prize for literature, 1996-2005.  Each of the sections has:

• an introduction which places the novels in their context
• information about the author
• information about the book
• general questions for discussion
• question specifically about the book for discussion.
